Ok yeah thats a hell of an app more information than ...... British library? Tells u maximum software and just heaps of other . Of course because its in an app and looks cool I trust its all kosher!

Don't forget that when you upgrade from 10.6.8 you lose Rosetta which can be significant for some users of older laptops and older software. I think in most cases the if you're on an older MacBook without much RAM, 10.6.8 is a good place to stop
