Hi - wife & I have been on holiday and taken many photos

I've uploaded them to a folder on the macbook pro, but I can't see / find an option anywhere in the folder to view them as a slideshow... I don't want to have to open each one individually to view them

can someone please help?

thanks

Drag and drop them on Photos or iPhoto.

thanks they are also in photos and I can view them like that

on my old computer I used to be able to highlight the photos and play them as a slide show, but obviously Mr Apple doesn't want me to do that!

If you highlight them all and click the space bar it'll show the images in Preview mode - that has a sort of manual slide show and some other view options

in the Finder select the photos you want to see in a slide show and while holding the option button click on the file menu and you will see "Slideshow" 1/3 the way up from the bottom.
