I am just wondering if anyone knows how to get a list of songs that the genius feature in iTunes was unable to pick up and sort. I am guess it works on ID3 tags, because some of mine are not 100% correct.
Just asking because I am sure I am not getting the most out of this feature as it is not picking up all my songs (and don't want to go through each individual one ha) and would like to fix them.

From the rumours circulating the Genius feature works primarily with your iTunes purchase history compared to other customers purchase history.  It also scans the songs on your library and looks in the iTunes store database to see related purchases for those songs.  I guess it's dependent in some ways on id3 tags but mainly just album and artist i'd say.  It'll sort by your purchase history first though I think.

O ok, I just ask because a lot of my music is from CD's and I know the songs name has been different to that in iTunes Store, but when making it the same as iTunes Store, Genius picks up the song.

Beware if you move store location.
The system is not bright enough to tag purchase history and ID together. I moved from the UK store to the NZ one (I was forced to by registering a NZ iPhone - I would not have done it by choice as the UK store is 100% better!) and now I have no purchase history at all.
Slightly on a side issue, my Bose Lifestyle system "learns" what I like or do not like as well and selects from stored music appropriately. It is quite accurate after a while and I guess must use the same kind of info.
