I have an iMac and want to run some Windows based programs. I heard that VMware Fusion was the way to go but thought a free trial was safer than purchasing the software up front. I completed the download, but when I went to instal the product, I was asked to supply the product serial number. Going back to the website, I find that the serial number is only available if you purchase it. Sort of conflicts with the "free" bit!
Is there a solution to this other than buying the software without being able to trial it first?

Maybe if we start telling people the brain is an app they will start using it.

They do, yeah. They wanted you to enter your email when you went to download it - did you? They ask for it so that they can email your trial key and spam you mercilessly with "special offers" for buying the product every week or so until the trial expires.

I finally have fibre!  Had to leave the country to get it though.

Thanks for your response guys. I was in a bit of a rush when I posted my query, and when I read the e-mail again I realised that the key was included. Slight embarrassment!Embarassed
