Have you tried looking in the log files to see if anything comes up? I have a Mac Mini that recently got upgraded to snow leopard that exhibits issues with trying to connect to a huawei wireless ap. the fix so far is "reboot" until it is stable.

I have had issues with Mac's and certain brands of AP - Linksys being the main one that breaks with Macs pushing through too much data.

Havent had much of a chance to look at them this week, but we shall see how the swap went next week.

I had my mac friend look at the logs and he could not find anything useful

Well, asked the classes about the swapped macs today.

The good macs are working fine in the bad room.

Of the bad macs, one is still not keeping the password, and the other one occasionally disconnects, but for the most part is playing good.

Trying to get a portable HDD for the school so i can try some new clones. Should hopefully have it within the week.

Also, router does not assign IP's, our server does that instead.

No Guarantees - *but*  I semi fixed (see later)  a problem with a Mac Mini by deleting the com.apple.internetconfigpriv.plist and com.apple.internetconfig.plist files from within Preferences folder.  (instructions I followed are here:  http://osxdaily.com/2009/09/01/how-i-fixed-my-dropping-wireless-airport-connection-problem-in-snow-leopard/ )

Zapping the PRAM (instructions in the link above) might assist here.

I mentioned that the above fix was a semi fix - It certainly fixed the first few reboots ... but every now and again it's reported to me that the Mac mini doesn't connect to the AP when started ... usually a reboot fixes it. (and no one cares enough to sort it out properly).

Hope that gives some pointers that are helpful.
