Hi all

Is there an emulator available anywhere? I am  PC user and wish to play on a MAC OS X to learn it, without buying one. Next laptop may well be one. Im looking for a basic emulator, web or otherwise

Nope. There's no legal way to do this either, but if you really want to, google "OS x86" or something similar. People have figured out how to install OS X onto PCs. However it's illegal to do.

I'm a few days late here, but any simulation would have to be a real installation of the OS; it's really not possible to simulate something as in-depth as a new OS otherwise.

As mentioned it's possible to install OS X on a regular PC if your hardware matches up, or through VMware/VirtualBox. I'm not aware of any law against this, only Apple's terms.

There are demo models in all Dick Smith stores, as well as JB HiFi and probably Harvey Norman and Noel Leeming too. Jump on and have a play.

Aside from that go to www.apple.com a and view the feature videos for OS X

I have ran it in Virtualbox in the past, and it works quite well - give it a go :)

Can confirm that virtualbox (free) will run osx on your windows pc.
You just need to get yourself an osx install DVD - or google hackintosh or ideneb.
