Last weekend I upgraded to OSX Lion, using my redeem code. The installation was a breeze! After OSX upgrade I noticed when I opened Aperture it took much longer to open. When browsing my photos in Aperture it's not as smooth and free anymore, as it was previously when running OSX Snow Leopard. It's so slow and sometimes unresponsive. Perhaps an Aperture update is needed?  I much rather prefer Aperture over iPhoto. And to put this in perspective, Photoshop CS5.1 runs faster than Aperture. I just don't get it.

Is anyone else having the same problem??

I have the 13" i7 MacBook Pro. When you say the hd3000 hasn't been tweaked? Do you mean that the graphics or something haven't been tweaked? Even firefox 6 is running a bit slow on my mac. Hopefully an osx firmware update is in the works to fix this.
