Give her money and tell her to get her own gift.

There are plenty of gift ideas for women.  Let me rattle off a few:

  • an iron and ironing board
  • a vacuum cleaner
  • a bucket and mop
  • a years supply of washing powder
  • a washing machine
  • an oven
  • parking lessons
There are too many options to list here...

Reminds me of an old joke:

One guys says "I gave my wife a diamond ring and a Ferarri - so that if she doesn't like the ring, she can drive to the jewellers to change it"

Other guy says "I gave my wife some fur slippers and a dildo - so that if she doesn't like the slippers, she can go thing herself".

IIFRC at least the second line was used by Paulie in "The Sopranos".

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

avecha: Give her money and tell her to get her own gift.

This solution will bite you on the butt.

Thee continuity and repetitiveness of this butt-biting will be based on:
a) the amount gifted (inversely proportional)
b) the time between the gift and commencement of the butt-biting (proportional)

...stick with the Helicopter

I can't believe that after all this time, no-one has answered 'If you don't know, then I'm not going to tell you!'

What are her interests? Something to help her with those maybe?

Or something totally pamperific (that you get to enjoy too!) :)

Her main interest lately is raising two young kids at home.
Reading is an interest thats why I thought the Kindle idea would have been perfect.

A digital camera is perfect then - to take lots of pics of the kids!
