I am turning 16 next week and hope to get my learners asap. I was looking at the AA website and it looks like I have to first go to an AA place and apply (fill out the forms ect) then they can book me in to do the test. I have a couple of questions prior to doing this though.

1. Do I have to be 16 to APPLY?

2. From my understanding, you need to book an appointment in order to sit the test. What is the probability that I would have to go back at a later date? Or should I phone them before re: avalibility going in?

3. Do I need a parent to apply with me, provided I bring in all of the appropriate paperwork, I cannot see anything on the website.

I'll probably call the AA on Monday to confirm but was just wondering if anyone could answer any of these questions.

Thanks

Not sure where you're based but I would avoid the AA due to the long queues of people doing everything else.

I did mine through a quieter VTNZ - no queues and was much quicker.

Ok thanks for that, I'll look into it. Their opening times seem to be fairly short.
