My Amazon parcel just got processed by Youshop, box is 22cm thick where the thickest item is 6cm; even if they stacked items its only 8.5cm thick max.

Amazon have chosen to pack your items into a giant box. There's not a lot you can do except hope/ask for a repack.

How long does it take, in general, for the item to appear on the Youshop website? I ordered something off Amazon, it got delivered around 10am NZ time Saturday morning, hasn't been processed yet. Because its now the weekend I am thinking I might see it around Tues/Wed?

It's usually pretty quick. Mine has been there for over a couple of days this time though...should see it within a day or two usually.

Prior to the black Friday sales items usually showed up in under 24 hours. You can imagine that the volumes are rather high though.

Youshop isn't an express service, it's a reasonably priced moderate pace service. Things will show up within a few days of arriving at the warehouse, and then will arrive to you in 1-2 weeks. Sometimes it's faster, but if you keep your expectations around these levels you'll sometimes be pleasantly surprised rather than usually being annoyed.

Got a an Amazon box yesterday (direct shipping, not YouShop). It was a single book - the box could easily hold about 15 of those. It was full of paper...

My Chromebook arrived at YouShop this morning. It's dimensions are 41*31*14cm which seems reasonable and it's cost $50.50 to send to NZ.

So overall it's cost me about the same as a second hand one in NZ and around half what we are having to pay the college for our kids ones.

I'm looking forward to having it, I'm using Google docs for my business but need something every once in a while on the road and a Chromebook seems to be perfect for that.

Anyone know how long it takes for YouShop to send emails advising parcels have arrived at the warehouse?

I bought some stuff during the recent Black Fri sales and the package was delivered to the YouShop Warehouse on Dec 4 from the seller but I haven't heard anything from Youshop.

I've used them twice now and had emails from YouShop within hours of Amazon telling me it had been delivered.

I received a vinyl record last week. It was also well endowed in the packing department :-)

They seem snowed under at the NZ end currently, parcel shipped to NZ on 29th Nov and still no email regarding its arrival here.
