loceff13: If you are shipping that many individual products to a place like youshop you are doing it wrong, that would stress me out waiting for a huge unknown bill vs one of the other options that offer consolidation to 1 or more packages. You are also pretty lucky you were under the $400 total cost(shipping included) as you could have ended up paying Duty fees of ~$107 had it gone over and they arrived at once.

YOU SHOP do not offer consolidation of parcels or a discount for such a service.  Instead they offer a discount on multiple parcels.

Seems YouShop are running on fire this week
Just had notice that my two parcels are in the country after shipping on Monday. Fastest I have ever received anything into the country. What would be good is to get the parcel tomorrow at home.

All of my parcels have been opened and retaped with 'Opened at USA Warehouse' tape, I always figured it was to get the value of the parcel

Anyone in the last week get emails saying to make sure you are sending parcels to the new USA address, rather than the old. I received two emails despite all recent parcels being sent to the new address...

I have purchased some Merrell Barefoot running shoes from Amazon before, they shipped them direct, and sent them in a box the same size as a shoe box.

No running, walking is my max speed on feet :)

Anyway, see my update. Amazon didn't put a big box, just a thin plastic bag wrapping the shoe box, it had Amazon's sticker on it. The measurement of youshop seems dodgy, first measurement is 67% larger, even the reassessed measurement is still 33% larger than the actual package I received.

Do you think they might have stretched the plastic bag to its extreme size and measured it?

They might have, but that'd be daylight robbery?

Youshop is giving a 10% discount using code "westpac" until 31st July, I assume you need a westpac card for this like the previous Kiwibank code.

Just missed the previous discount code because my parcel arrived on the 1st. I don't have a Westpac card, anyone know of any other codes?

leaplae: Paypal, with a US Address, write you shop address in newegg, and when you go to pay for it using paypal, change the billing address (on the paypal page) to the US address, it will allow you to change country (this is the page that you click confirm on paypal, before it takes you back to the newegg).

How did you get the second overseas address into PayPal.  I had this issue trying to buy stuff from eBay - however, the Country code is disabled, so I could not add an overseas address - only another NZ one.

Either make a new paypal act or change it every time you check out.

Talk about a record
Paid for a parcel Friday, it shipped Saturday and has just arrived in Auckland. Fingers crossed for a Dunedin delivery on Tuesday.

(While a parcel paid for on Wednesday, shipped Thursday is still in transit to Auckland)

I was thinking of buying some items from Newegg in the US, but they don't seem happy with my NZ Credit Card. Anyone have a simple workaround?

I expect the Warehouse credit card will also work, as it is issued by Westpac.

Someone posted a link to something a 2-6 pages back that may help. I forget the details.
