nzpostbm: If you have any questions or interested in providing feedback on either a consolidation option or anything to do with the YouShop service, please email me @ youshopsupport@nzpost.co.nz.

Brendon

My only request is... Please have the consilidation service running in time for the black friday sales in Nov :)

nzpostbm: I can confirm that is our plan. At this early stage, we're targeting a early Nov launch.

Any news on launch of consilidation service? Black Friday deals have started...

Although development of a YouShop consolidation service is progressing well, unfortunately it now won't be ready in the US for the Black Friday sales. In the UK, testing is nearly complete and we're targeting a release in 3-4 weeks.

I'll provide another update on consolidation release plans for UK, US & China once confirmed.

Wow. Ordered myself a Kindle Voyage. Shipped from Amazon on Thursday, arrived at my office this AM c/- Youshop.

Best speed service I've ever gotten.

Voyage is a lovely reader if anyone cares. Worth it for me to upgrade from my last gen Paperwhite.

Ah ok.. how about some discount codes for shipping over the black Friday week..

Also I have a question, I understand some parcels may get opened due to the list provided earlier.. I had 5 packages coming from the UK warehouse, 4 have been sent and all were opened.  They were just bluray movies, and the packaging for each was just a bluray sized cardboard box.. So I wondered what they would have been opened for, checking the value of each?

I have an idea for another service you could provide, taking a picture of the item and sending for checking, i.e. if it was a auction (ebay) purchase.
I currently have a ebayer send me an incorrect item instead of a Bluray steel tin box, I got sent a portable tire compressor, very odd indeed and I am giving them the benefit of doubt they sent the wrong item.. for now...  this box was also opened by the warehouse.

I would expect for only this box to be opened, as the description would have said DVD/Bluray.  I hope the mixup of items didn't occur at the warehouse.

Hi Brendon, I had a closer look at this (compressor) package, and ripping off the Youshop address, I can see the package was addressed to a totally different youshop customer ( I can make out the cust number too).  Lucky the original address has the youshop packaging tape over it so it didn't come off when I ripped off the Youshop label addressed to me.

I have apologised to the Ebayer and advised that this is a Youshop issue.  Now what, are you able to assist via PM? or shall I take it up with a CSR?

Regarding any parcel issues, please contact our Customer Support Team so investigations can commence.

Unsure about discount codes for Black Friday, I recommend you watch out for any promotional emails from NZ Post in the coming week.

My wife's sandals have arrive at Youshop.  The sandals costs $NZ35   but the shipping to NZ is $38 .  Guess it's in a big shoe box..

Thanks for the previous discount, came in handy when I had a large parcel arrive.
Came in again looking for another one, as two more parcels arrived at YS quicker than I had anticipated.

I have a question regarding the application of discount codes - seems to apply to the newest arrived parcel meaning if that parcel has a low shipping cost to New Zealand, the discount is small which is better for YS. Any chance of adding in an option to pick what parcel gets the discount?

Thanks, I have logged the support request, and have spent a long time compiling the information required for the UK warehouse to commence an investigation.
In the mean time I have located the recipient of the parcel via Facebook, it turns out he was delivered my parcel. I have arranged to pick up from him. (have notified your support team of this)

It's clear that this mixup would've happened when Youshop opened the parcels, however what is concerning is the breakdown in procedure (in this case) to ensure the correct parcels are re-labelled and sent to the correct recipient.
