Sometime at the dawn of this century, I recall viewing / visiting a web page ( or may have received as a spreadsheet ?), where you followed an ever opening path / track thru forests / villages / trees, and it went on and on and on ..... and on ... and on ....

Does anybody recall this, or even better, direct me to a link ? ... I have googled, but come up with so many negative results ..

I recall an unstructured game like that from a couple of years back but not as far back as the Y2K. It may have been a plugin for an existing game engine. Do you remember any features from the game or what the character looked like?
