Lovely people.

They quickly and efficiently received, processed and approved my application for a connection for a water meter for my second flat.

They must have very much enjoyed dealing with me as today I received yet another approval for a water connection at a property I don't even own, along with all the details of the person who had actually applied for it.

I called the other person to notify them their application was approved and Watercare had written to me so that I might share the good news, too. They were very interested to hear I was in receipt of all the details about their application.

I called Watercare, too, but it was 5:15 and they were closed for the day. Must have been worn right out sending letters to the wrong people all day. :-)

Ha ha....

We called Watercare, to get connected to mains water (currently on tank supply) and they told us that, yes, they could do it.
They even took payment (possibly at the Council office) for the new connection.
It was not until they came to inspect the site that they informed us "yes, there is a pipe down the road, but this one has no water in it........."
