Hi all..

Random question - Bit of a nerd but been working/studying constantly for the last few years so have kinda fallen outta the 'geek' chat around the internet. Geekzone is a good place to chat (forum style) But i'm wondering if any of you are aware of any decetn/popular IRC Servers/Channels that still have a decent sized community and a good channel to join for general computer/geeky chat

Cheers

Geekzone has its own chat over at irc.synirc.net #geekzone

I think freenode is the only real network actually 'growing' these days. efnet, rizon and the other large nets are all still running, however, starting in #linux or #programming on any network will give you a good idea of how they do.

I'd recommend HexChat for IRC on Windows and *nix these days and probably Textual for OS X.
