Doh! I must be going blind. Thanks! Yeah it's right there on the front page. I was diving into the account admin\setup areas.

I've tried changing the location on the front page of Unblock-us but that doesn't change what I see on my Apple TV. Maybe I'm doing it wrong and need my hand held through the process?

It shoudl just be that, and then reenter Netflix on your apple tv.

I did that to watch flight (and back)

Do you need to change your iTunes store to UK and restart?

And I don't need a UK Netflix account?

Am I understanding this correctly? If I have a NetFlix US account, but I reconfigure my DNS provider to use a UK based IP address, I'll be able to access NetFlix UK content? Or will I require a separate NetFlix UK account?

Not sure.  Region switching of Netflix is a service that unblockus offers.  What it does under the covers I have no idea.  Perhaps it is an simple as you describe (change to UK dns and reload netflix), but I wouldn't know.

I use UnoDNS, which offers a similar service. It makes sense to me that I'd require a separate UK based NetFlix account. I'll have to take it for a spin to find out, I guess. :-)

I don't have a separate UK account (which if you did you'd be paying twice?) - and after switching in unblockus, the UK catalog was available.  I noticed (at the time) the instant queue option disappeared as only the US had those.

i use the hola unblocker and just switching between the US and UK  gives me access to both, in fact when switching from The US one i get a message saying the catalogue is different when you travel between the 2 countries

Common sense is not as common as you think.

That surprises me. I'll definitely have to give it a go. Our primary objective is to get access to the first 3 episodes of the latest Breaking Bad series. We've caught up via NetFlix US, and because we weren't expecting to catch up so quickly, we were a wee bit slow to MySky the current run. My goal is to be able to watch the final episode with the rest of the World :-)

FWIW, we use the Apple TV (2nd gen) for our NetFlix watching. We also tried using the PS3 app, but the quality of that (both streaming performance and user experience) is far inferior.

Roku 3, Apple TV, Browser and IOS.

I have only switched region and viewed on the Apple TV (and only did it once to watch one movie)
