This is called neotony, and it's a good thing. I have it and hope to retain it.

DEFINITION OF: neotony:. Noun, the state resulting when juvenile characteristics are retained by the adults of a species.

AOL, Me2 etc ;) I am lucky enough to have a wife that is the same way and allows me to be myself, childish playfulness and all :)

Had to Google my age the other day. Forgot how old I was.

Me too. I had a cat's whisker back in late 50's/early 60's and a temperamental thing it was too. Used it to tickle a crystal

I'm not that old but my earliest technology recollection is a school field trip to the local museum to see a calculator which was on nationwide tour. It was a Canon with a strange side-lit display where you could see 10 numerals deep but only one lit up.  At uni we booked a week ahead to use the only HP calculator on the campus.  At my first engineering job the calculator came around on a trolley (like the tea) and you cranked a handle to make it compute.  My clients laugh but I still keep a slide-rule on my desk - old technology that feels good!

Having hit 40 I'm now counting backwards... currently 36 which is (I must say) better second time round.

PerfectStranger: "Someone set this as The Answer but that may not be correct - PerfectStranger Bob said he is "... in his 70's..." so he may be older than Patricia."

Just to clarify. I'll be 72 in December. So Patricia may have pipped me at the post.

Nope. You beat me. My next birthday is March 2014.

Not saying. Nowhere near retirement but there were no computers when I was at school. Typing was still taught.

Got a C64 as first PC. Not a kid then either BTW.

It's a good thing MOST of the time... I only get issues with the mrs as the toys get more expensive ;D

And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one!

I'm the grand old age of 101100. (Is that cheating?)

Some think I'm in my late 20s though, 2C to be precise!

My age is a secret, known only to the NZ government, NSA, GCSB, and every other spy agency in the world. Although I suspect it might also be set as a reminder on my husband's phone so Google probably know it too.
