Does anyone know if the Air NZ peasant class on a 777-200 have a USB power port?
I vaguely remember there being one last year when I went to perth on one, but I not 100% sure...

Nope. They don't. Neither does Business Class or Premium Economy.

Business class does have AC power though.

I fix stuff!

I believe they do have both AC and USB since the new fitouts. They did on the last flight I took to LA on a 777. I think the AC was a US plug however

Hmm... Im going to take my USB cable on board just in case then.. I might get lucky.

Im sure there was a USB port on the seat/entertainment system thing.

Edit: Thanks sounddude but that looks like its for the -300 not the -200

Premium Economy and Business Premier on the 77E has inseat AC power but no USB in any seats as it's using the older Rockwell Collins IFE.

On the 77W there is USB power on the Panasonic IFE in all seats along with AC in PE and BP.

Thats for a 777-300

The 777-200's haven't got it

the 767's have USB ports, but I can't confirm whether they actually work

The short haul A320's also have USB ports as part of the IFE, but they can't have a very high current output. Tried charging my phone last time and I think I maybe got a 10-15% charge off a 3 hour flight (phone turned off).

It won't be a 737. The only power the 737 has is to power the vacuum cleaners. 737 is also only domestic. That will be the A320 with the USB port.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

It'll be an A320.. And the power output on those USB ports is very low, it's designed for playing back media on your seat back screen, not charging devices.
