I'm wondering who here watches the show or is a fan ?

I'm a big fan.

I'm sad that it's ending!

Just saw the first part of the finale and the 2nd part (final final final episode) will be airing next week in the US.

If you've seen the latest epi, what do you think ?

Yup watched the whole thing from the start and love it.

It started out quite cheesy and b-grade almost and I don't think they thought it would be as popular as it is.
Or that it would run for 7 seasons.
Wonder if it will be a double episode for the final??

Today's (or shall I say last night's) episode in the US was actually the finale part 1.

That's what they're calling it. And next friday is the final part 2, the closing of the show.

Should be good.

There's a spoiler on reddit and online, so careful if you don't wanna be spoiled.

But Jeffrey Donovan kinda tweeted an obvious spoiler anyways :D

Switching sides isn't the answer but then neither is giving into the CIA, they're a vicious part of the cycle too. Spying and secret wars are bad for your conscience, who'da thunk?

Oh well, after next Friday it doesn't matter. Well, in this fictional world, anyway.

I agree switching sides isn't the right answer....but you gotta admit James' organization is doing the right thing.

He kills terrorists and murderers.
And the CIA is in turn after him.....why the hell isn't the CIA after the people that James is after.

I surely hope Michael joins James' org in the end.

His friends have gone too damn far in interfering.

I watched the first series and very much enjoyed it but then - as is so often the case here - I lost track of which channel and at what time the next ones were on and whether they were repeats or not!

Why can't Sky clearly mark repeats in their program guide?

TV programming here is so illogical it makes my head hurt sometimes.

You are right about it starting out looking a bit cheesy, but I was surprised to find I enjoyed watching it. They kept the weekly stories inventive and fun while carrying on the main story arch which never quite got boring. Have not kept up with this final season tho. My preference is to grab the DVD set when available and watch a bunch of episodes at a time.

Also I have noticed a few of the TV guide listings showing season and episode numbers, wish they could include that on any series which was popular enough to get to a second season at least.

Watched the first two seasons - thoroughly enjoyed it, then it disappeared and I only saw a couple of episodes on Sky...

Great program IMO

You guys honestly need to give it a try if you've never seen it...or if you watched some then left it.

If you don't like it then no harm. But it's a really good show imo.

Some eps can be silly stupid...but all shows have those eps, especially once it gets into 3 seasons +
But the fact that Burn Notice keeps getting awesome viewer numbers + ratings speaks for itself.

I'll be really sad when it ends this friday at 2pm NZ time.

Hopefully i can semistream it at work (desk job).

They're saying someone really important , aka one of the main chars, will definitely die in the finale. But overall a happy ending.

That's all i have atm :(

It harks back to the "good old days" of TV, I think...like Magnum PI and the like...good fun, pleanty of action and a bit cheesey...all of which i like.

My favorite on TV. Have watched from start to finish and then back around many times at the end of each new season. Up there with Suits as best show on TV at present IMO.

Very sad to see it end, especially given this final season has been the best. Would have liked to see more of "Dark Mike" from his early CIA days that Larry kept referring to. Maybe we'll get a prequel thing like Spartacus Gods of the Area?

A spin off has already been announced for a couple character apparently.

Surely Fi has to die?

You reckon? Didn't think there had been much drama at all. Apart from this weeks episode, which was just a minor lovers spat.

I shouldn't have expected it, but I was hoping for a darker ending. Oh well, ties it up nicely I guess.
