Hey everyone,

Im in the Waikato and i'm actually english. Have always loved tortoises and have always wanted one.
Since moving to NZ 6 years ago I had put the idea to rest as when I first moved here realised that tortoises weren't that readilt available and was actually told by quite a few people that they were illegal here.
But just a few days back I came accross a post that said no, they are available here in NZ so it had just fueled me to get out there and get on some waiting lists. So excited and feel like I can finally have my dream little pal.

Are there any people out there that know of any breeders? I'm interested in finding out what species are availble in NZ and getting on some waiting lists.

Cheers, Lauren
