jnimmo: I seem to have had pretty good luck, my iParcel package was delivered today (the last status update was 'Arrived in New Zealand' yesterday at 5am), not scheduled until 25th

This gives me hope as mine arrived at 5am as well.  Hopefully i will see it today or tomorrow. fingers cross

Xeon: Mine was due to arrive on Feb 11th, entered NZ on Feb 9th. Messaged Amazon support on Sunday and they told me it was lost and gave me a refund.

One package has estimated delivery date 12 Feb after delay, arrived at NZ on 9 Feb, still not delivered this morning.

I contacted Amazon yesterday, they replied the carrier might have lost the shipment in transit.

They are sending a replacement with DHL, estimated delivery no later than 25 Feb. I'll see.

They also offered refund - but it's a gift for end of Feb and I have no alternative atm. Just wish I don't end up receive 2 packages and have to send 1 back.

Best of luck but I wouldn't hold your breath for a delivery tomorrow if my past experiences are anything to go by.

I ordered three items from Amazon yesterday.  I've got two shipping notifications for two of them so far so I guess all three items are being shipped separately.  None were eligible for free shipping so it will be interesting to see if they are treated any differently to free shipping items.

My package arrived this morning. The tracking page still shows it as being waiting for customs clearance but it has arrived today after arriving in NZ on the 12th and with an original delivery estimate of the 13th.

At least it is here. Good luck to all those waiting for their packages!

I've just had a package show up as undeliverable, once it had reached NZ, but before being put out for delivery??? Checking with amazon as to what is up. It's a couple of NERF guns for my son - maybe customs intercepted them :)

Mine just arrived, still says it delayed with customs clearance in the states.  Interesting to see when it changes.

A day after, the old package got delivered. Based on tracking it arrived at NZ on 9 Feb, but then it just disappeared from the radar. That's pretty lousy... not sure if my inquiry trigger anything with the local carrier.

Amazon customer service on the other hand is quite good, a replacement was already sent out, I'm letting them know and cancel the replacement.

I placed an order for a samsung SSD on the 13th, it arrived at the I-parcel facility on the 14th and has been there ever since. Couple of days ago Amazon tracking advised its delayed in customs clearance please contact the carrier. I've flicked them an email yesterday morning and an answerphone message today but not heard anything back yet. Hopefully it leaves the US soon!

Mines sitting there "flagged for review" and "on hold for review" for some reason(Nexus 7) for 2 days but I suspect it will be on it's way soon enough.

I am actually surprised that people can't wait a day or two before screaming "LOST!" or "LATE!"

We explained to our daughter today, who is waiting for something we bought on Amazon that international parcel is not an exact science. If the carrier misses a plan the box might have to wait for one five days later or a week later. Sometimes a parcel is stopped somewhere for checking, sometimes there's a fog in Wellington that closes the airport for 24 hours.

Come on folks. With so many of you complaining to Amazon it will be no surprise if they just turn around and say "stuff that, no more free parcel to complaining kiwis".

In defending my impatience, I waited 8 days after the already delayed estimated delivery date - Amazon advised to wait "a few more days", and I only contacted Amazon after another member here contacted Amazom and got told his package was lost, which arrived in NZ on the same day - I thought we might be in the same batch.

Amazon initially also told me the carrier might have lost the package. It's only after Amazon checked with the carrier that the parcel magically got delivered. It ONLY took 29 days so my impatience is warranted. If anything, the carrier missed the already delayed delivery date rather badly.

My other packages are also delayed, and I'm OK with that since I'm prepared for delay - it's free shipping - if I want anything faster I'd get priority shipping or buy locally. But this one is a gift and I need it next week. If I can't know for sure what happened I'll have to get something else this weekend. The order was placed a month ago I thought I had enough room for delay but it's too close to be comfortable.

All in all, the tracking from iparcel seems really bad - might as well removing the tracking info altogether. There are also tracking showing packages departure/arrive at the same depot multiple times and/or doing round trips, or sitting in a depot for 10+ days, I hope they know what they are doing.

I had good experiences with iparcel last year. Things seem suddenly got much worse.

It's not that ppl here whining about "free" shipping had delays, but if Amazon provides estimated delivery date, it should be delivered within a reasonable delay (Amazon says allow a couple of days). And if Amazon provides tracking, it should have reasonable update. Otherwise just simply put estimated delivery time: up to 1 month and everyone would know what's on the plate.

P.s UK mail service, over sized item, relatively cheap shipping, ordered around the same time, no tracking, arrived in 5 working days as promised. Just saying.

I can understand that I signed up for a 3 week delivery and I am not complaining. But what I don't understand is, it sits in a corner for a half week, gets moved to NZ over half a week, sits in a corner for a week in NZ, gets couriered.

On the other hand I have another package (ordered in the same hour), it sat in the corner for 2 weeks, now is making its way to NZ, I wonder if they'll let it sit in a corner in NZ before it gets couriered, as it already missed its delivery target (today) ... let's see how they decide who sits in the corner
