What We Do In The Shadows series is on iPlayer. Haven't actually watch yet but apparently considered pretty decent.

freitasm: Bosch is back on Amazon Prime now.

Hooked on Bosch - a cut above the average US cop show IMO.

The finale of The Big Bang Theory.
A storyline that was really just a feel-good wrap-up of the long running sitcom. After twelve seasons it had kind of run its course and Jim Parsons (Sheldon) pulling his participation at the end of this season was probably timely.
It was an enjoyable geek watch, particularly in early seasons, and not in a "Revenge of the Nerds" kind of way.

I've just finished the first season of Yellowstone

Kevin Costner plays John Dutton, the largest land owner in Montanan. He's beefing with the local native american tribe trying to get their lands back and out of town property developers trying to buy his land.. basically has reach into every state dept in the county and is down right ruthless and controlling of his family

Really enjoyed it and would recommend

Looking forward to the second season later this year

I watched it during it's initial run from 2004-2006; but I just binged all 3 seasons of Deadwood in preparation for the movie, which I hope will give fitting closure to a show that should never have been cancelled.

It was every bit as good as I'd remembered it, in fact being more than a decade older myself I think I actually enjoyed it more the second time around. It probably helped that it is the type of show that is incredibly bingeable, as opposed to how it was initially released as an episode a week.

9.5/10

Lizard1977:

Fleabag S02E01 (BBC iPlayer) - 9.5/10

My wife got me hooked on season 1 of Fleabag after she binged it in a single day, and it is easily one of the best shows I've seen in years.  It's kind of hard to describe, but the lead is played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (who also writes the show) as the owner-operator of a guinea-pig themed cafe owner dealing with the cringe-inducing issues of her sister, her widowed father (currently shacked up with their godmother, played brilliantly passive-aggressive by the ever-brilliant Olivia Colman), and her best friend and co-owner of said cafe.  It's hard to say any more than that without giving away some of the best stuff, but there's lot of fourth-wall breaking in a very self aware dark comedy.

Season 2 is airing now, and the first episode is available on iPlayer (as is all of Season 1, I think).  It's a masterclass in tight comedy writing, editing, casting, and timing.  If you like British TV, I strongly recommend taking a look.  Don't bother reading reviews or looking for trailers, as that will just spoil things.

Oh, and it's NSFW, so keep that in mind.

Just finished s02. It ends up having a lot more depth then what you may think after the first two episodes of S01. Very in your face humour. Concur with everything said above, easy 9/10. This is also on Prime NZ

Yep, Fleabag is now getting a lot of attention - I see lots of articles talking about it, especially now that Game of Thrones has run its course.

Also keep in mind that Phoebe Waller-Bridge has said explicitly that there is no season 3.  It's rare these days for a show to have such a finite run, and it's quite refreshing to have a defined story that isn't drawn out just to milk it.

And I understand was the writer for S1, but not for S2; this may explain why (IMO) S2 was not as good - I found it much more disjointed and somewhat messy. Still some killer lines, and Jodie Comer is fantastic.

Weirdly, S2 hasn't even screened in the UK yet, but has already finished its run in the US (and NZ).
