Just finished Season 3, found it enjoyable, not amazing. Plenty of 80's movie references snuck in there I found pretty funny.

Getting through Season 1 of DARK. dang its good.

Tricky keeping up with timelines (parents/kids/parents being kids/kids being parents/grandparents being parents and kids). I don't know how the writers got their heads around it.

once you get past the English voice over and the dialogue being out of sync  its a great story line that keeps giving.

You know your hooked when you finish episode and think Just one more, just one more and before you know it, its midnight.

I'm watching season 3 of The Expanse on Amazon Prime.

It's a good continuation of the first two seasons. I've just finished episode 3 and it's just as gripping as the first two seasons.

Some of the acting is a bit ropey (I'm looking at you, NZ's own Martian Marine, Frankie Adams).

DARK -  Season 2.

Wowsers!!!!!! just gets better and better. The writers do a good job of reminding you who is who, and the time period of each scene. Otherwise it could be totally unwatchable. Sometimes you get the same character 3 times all (33 years apart) in the same timeline/scene. Its cray cray but damn good.

So many secrets in Winden.

100% on rotten tomatoes.

Netflix "Blown Away"

It's a nice competition of glass blowers / artists. Unlike most reality shows, it's pleasant. Not campy or high-brow. Just right. OK for whole family.

I have always had a fascination with what can be made with glass. I have seen things that have blown my mind.

I'm going to hide posts that are nothing but a link to a review, and most certainly if you also paste the content of that review!

This is supposed to be thread about what series/episodes you personally have viewed, and your personal views of it!

Finished watching the final season of the Big Bang Theory including the final 2 episodes. What a fantastic job they did with the ending. Somewhat predictable, but also rewarding, happy and sad. After 12 years of watching I feel I have a big hole in the pit of my stomach as I won't be seeing any more of the gang.  The character development toward the end was pretty good, especially of Sheldon. I'll really miss this show.

The Magicians  on Amazon Prime.

Since I'm relatively new to Amazon Prime I'm discovering a few shows that have been about for while now.
This means I get to watch a few seasons on the trot - a good thing for a good series.

The Magicians is about some 20 somethings that can do magic. So they go off to Uni.
But it's an 18+ series so more of an adult story than Harry Potter and the world is definitely not full of nice things. Magic is quite dangerous and death not uncommon.

The main 2 characters are both flawed so have some depth (they both irritate me for different reasons - almost past interesting but not quite).
An casting magic seems to involve silly hand gestures.

But part for 2 above flaws story is interesting; the world dark enough, characters development engaging enough, and the overarching plot mystery engaging enough that it keeps me coming back.
As a nice bonus- the little bits of humor (dark and other) scattered through as well.

I also have recently completed season 12 of The Big Bang Theory using TVNZ Ondemand and agree with networkn, very good ending. I really enjoyed most of the seasons, one got a bit slow otherwise plenty of entertainment was provided with great writing to reflect back on previous habits, traits or scenes.

Watched Stranger Things Season 3 and really enjoyed. Love the 80’s references, the kids are a great group and there is plenty of individual time as well as group time on screen. I have been playing the music on Spotify a lot as well.

Started the first Season of The Last Kingdom on Netflix, nothing special, just gives a good feel of how people might have lived during that time. Not really drawing me in.

Our Planet on Netflix. This was fantastic. Lots of wow moments from the the whole family. Learnt a lot from it and pleased it related to some of what the kids are learning at school.

@topgunnz I really laughed out loud quite a few times in Season 12 of BBT, it was genuinely funny.  I thought about the ending a lot today. I wish I had more episodes to watch :(

I am enjoying Young Sheldon.
