The Series Finale of Last Man Standing

This is one of the most fun and wholesome shows on TV about (Tim Allen) who is man in a house full of women. Many laugh out loud moments and consistently good writing. If you enjoyed Home Improvement, you'd like this, I think. I'll miss it.

Where can we find it?

Hulu I think?

We still have the problem of people mentioning/recommending these shows but not informing us where they themselves viewed them, FTA, Streaming Provider or DVD/Blue-ray.

Perhaps a highlighted banner at the top and bottom, below the page count, of each page within the topic to remind posters to do so.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Perhaps people may not want to divulge where they obtained said tv series and not breaking FUG

Exactly this. It's not exactly difficult to type name of show + streaming to find out what services are playing it.

Google is too hard to use. No possible way to find what service  its streamed on .

Sarcasm: tick yes  :)

If you are signed up to Streaming service XXXX , and it doesnt show there , you cant watch it regardless.

"Virgin River" on Netflix - first couple of episodes.

Dreadful shallow American soap opera drama. Features small minded insular (but of course kind of heart) folksy folks in small town California, a surprisingly good looking nurse/midwife who's moved to Small Town because of a tragic back-story that I never got to the bottom of - it's rolled out in increasingly heart-wrenching flashbacks of her tragic  past life. (I could post a spoiler - but it's distasteful "serious issues as light entertainment" ?).  She's just totally  brilliant at everything - and it's all done "by the book".  She works for the grumpy tired and retirement age small town doctor who always does things "his way" but is saved by the doctor's kind-hearted pragmatic wife.  Love interest of the nurse is the guy who runs the local boozer, who I assume is a "bit of a rough diamond with a heart of gold", takes her to places to see the mountains and the sunrise and get all gooey about everything, but of course nothing happens because he's bonking someone else - and no doubt they'll drag this love triangle sub-story out through two series.  I'll never know how that pans out and I do not care.

There's even a "bad egg", the rough edged romanticist barman's brother, who's come back to town after doing who knows what and everybody knows there will be trouble.  I do not care.

It has everything wrong with it, shallow transparent plot, transparent one-dimensional characters, and a  puke-worthy artificial moralising "wholesomeness" to it.

This show was recommended to my SO.  Half way through episode one I verbalised something quite negative, the reply was that the person recommending it to her said "it gets better".  Half-way through episode 3, SO verbalised that her opinion had reversed - and that was it.   Thank the lord - we were saved.

0/10 - avoid like the plague (if that expression still has any meaning these days in America)

So you're saying we should have a geekzone IRL, cram together in a small damp room and binge watch it while drinking from the same straw.

Yep - go for it.  I'll be in, so long as y'all okay if I can't get my herpes blisters healed or covered with makeup in time.

Should make it masquerade.  All the blokes wear lumberjack clothes and bring a bag full of cut onions so you'll be sure to cry at appropriate times.  Women should bring obstetric forceps and plenty of hot towels.

The Wilds on Amazon Prime. I really enjoyed it, some pretty gritty subjects, and an interesting premise. If they can stop it going 'Lost' then I think they have a winner. Hoping for S2 soon!

I picking you really did not like this show! I started to watch this show, but I couldn't get past the first 3 episodes, and left it as one I might try and watch again, as sometimes, depending on what tv mood you are in, they can get better.

I've just finished watching The Watch on TVNZ On Demand.

Whilst it could have been better, I took it for what it was supposed to be...something loosely based on Terry Pratchett's books.

Overall, it wasn't awful. It just wasn't amazing. I am looking forward to a possible second season though. Maybe.

5/10

Don’t know if it has been mentioned here before, but StartUp is excellent IMO. Recently started watching it - now bingeing. Fargo-like. It’s on Netflix.

When I posted this a few months ago, it didn’t spark any responses from other GZers. I’d like to give it another vote. I think this set of three seasons with 10 episodes each is the best show I have watched for a very long time. I set personal-bests in binge-watching it.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Condolences for the suffering you've endured - and best wishes for your recovery.

I don't think being in the right "tv mood" will help much.  I'd compare watching it with being bound in chains whilst mercilessly lashed by some huge monster wearing studded leather and a gimp mask.  Some people enjoy that, apparently, but I suspect that's some kind of inherent aberration, not something one could learn to enjoy.

Just finished watching all 3 seasons of Startup that recently was added to Netflix.

Great show but ended in a really unfinished way - seems to be the writers expected a 4th season that never got booked. Such as shame as I REALLY enjoyed it.
