Wellmania on Netflix. Another Australian Dramedy. Not so much laugh out loud as watching with amusement.  You'll know within 1 episode if this is for you or not. It's car crash cringe humor which isn't my usual thing by any stretch, but it's also heart warming, and kind, and harsh, and sad.

Solid 7/10 from me.

Watched a couple of things over the weekend.

The Witcher - Season 3. Binged the first 5 available episodes. Enjoyed it, but also found it jumped about a bit. At one point I thought I had missed an episode.

Also started watching Starstruck, with NZ's Rose Matafeo in the lead role. So far so good - 3 episodes in .

The Blacklist ended last night after ten seasons. Raymond did it his way.

Season ten just finished, and it was the last season. All episodes are now available on Netflix.

Same here. 😀

I watched this recap which helped a lot (13 mins):

I watched the Apple 3 minute recap, but felt like it didn't recap nearly enough.

I'll be watching that shortly. It may help me to process what I have seen and make some better sense of it.

ST:SNW s2:e2 and s2:e3

I have the feeling the writers' strike started early for this show. They're mining the pits of TV tropes and discarded scripts to concoct the most cringe-worthy story lines that would put TNG:S1 to shame.

I watched Invasion this week while away for work. That show is a cracker!  Some of the usual "why did you make that dumb decision" moments, but overall a really cool story.  Also, for a TV/streaming show about an alien invasion, you get to see a ton of the aliens.  In my experience it's usually the phantom menace of an enemy for far too long to keep my interest.  Plus I watched it at the right time since I found out season 2 starts in a few weeks.

I haven't been enjoying Season 2 as much as Season 1, that is for sure.  Perhaps believing their own hype too much.  It was definitely the best effort of the recent live-action Trek shows, couldn't stand Discovery or Picard.

Have been watching Silo, up to Ep5 now, quite enjoying that so far, after resisting having a look at it for a while.  Not read the books, but comes across a bit like Snowpiercer in a silo instead of a train.

hate the season long arcs of Discovery/Picard. Love the return to episodic for SNW

Picard season 3 was, for the most part, actually very good. An amazing turnaround after the utter garbage that was seasons 1 & 2.

I just finished season 1 of The Bear.
It’s about restaurant and family in Chicago. A great cast and incredibly inventive television. The episodes are mostly half hour which is nice.

Episode 7 is one of the most frenetic and well made episodes of TV I’ve ever seen. Truly an extraordinary technical episode to film an entire 18 minute episode in one take.

9/10

Catch-22 was a great series. I see I came to it late.

Based on the Joseph Heller novel on bombers and bureaucracy during World War II. Quite bloody with a dark humour.
