Quite enjoyed Elsbeth on TV1.
A bit different for a crime drama. You see the murder committed and then watch her solve it while the police go down a different track.
Wife and daughter are watching Keeping Faith on TV1 demand, but I lost interest after the first episode.
Kaos on Netflix.
Stars Jeff Goldblum (amongst others) as Zeus - the Greek God.
It's set in a modern version of ancient Greece (if that makes sense) - i.e. mythical Greece is real, the people still worship the Gods and the Gods are a wildly dysfunctional family, who have varying degrees of disdain for either their own family or the human population or both.
It's at times a bit confusing, but well acted and interesting, but you do need to know at least a tiny bit about Greek Mythology to understand who some of the characters are.
It's a bit like watching modernised Shakespeare. Sometimes fun, sometimes confusing, mostly entertaining.
I'm up to episode 5 and enjoying it immensely.

It gives me a very similar vibe to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo+Juliet (the one with Leo DiCaprio and Clare Danes) -
For anyone looking for a quirky but fun "murder mystery" dramedy, Population 11 on TVNZ+ is very good.
It follows Andy, an American who travels to outback Western Australia to find his dad, who is an Aussie chap that runs alien encounter tours near a tiny outback town in the middle of nowhere, where everyone has some kind of story...
Fun, weird, unexpected and also sometimes a bit serious. My wife and I are really enjoying it.
Other things we are engaged in watching currently, but constantly awaiting the next instalment:
Lord of the Rings, The Rings of Power - Prime
Bad Monkey - Apple TV+
Only Murders in the Building - Disney+
Unstable (s2) - Netflix
Double Parked - Three Now

Just binged two seasons of Colin From Accounts on TVNZ+
Very good comedy drama from Australia about a couple who run over a dog, adopt him (along with his wheels) and name him Colin.
It's an exploration of the differences between Gen X/Y and Millennials as much as anything else.
Really enjoyable but does go deep on the drama at times at the expense of the comedy.

I saw the 1st series a while back. I'll defintely watch the 2nd series now that I see its on Netflix
One of my favourites . Its very much an adult show , with adult themes .
If you like quirky TV this is a good one. Think a very dark/adult themed roger rabbit type show

the British show Dirk Gently is much closer to what the books were and in my opinion is a far better series if you loved the books.
Common sense is not as common as you think.
Finished watching Bad Monkey on Apple TV+ - Really enjoyed it and hope there's a second season.
Have also just finished season 1 of The Old Man on Disney+ - slow but enjoyable, if you like that sort of thing.
Just started The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix - really getting into it. Quite enjoyable, if a little formulaic.
Agatha All Along on Disney+ is a bit tedious but I am now invested enough to want to see it through, but I am not a fan.

I'm not usually a fan of American TV but I quite enjoyed that one, and I'm really looking forward to the new season of Shrinking.

Ooh, that's promising.
I have loved a lot of the side-characters in this too. Like the dad, played by Scott Glenn.
The show used Vaughan's talent to be annoying really well - clever writing.

Slow Horses now on Season 4. A dysfunctional team of MI5 agents and their obnoxious boss, the notorious Jackson Lamb, navigate the espionage world's smoke and mirrors to defend England from sinister forces.
Succession - American series The Roy family controls Waystar RoyCo, a powerful global media and entertainment conglomerate. However, the unexpected retirement of the company's patriarch ignites a power struggle.
The above may have been mentioned in other posts, but I was too lazy to check the 272 pages.
