Watched the first episode of Taboo on iPlayer last night and it was superb.
Everything I love about the Brits doing dark and moody drama. Tom Hardy has the lead role absolutely nailed.

I agree, an excellent series. Also look out for Apple Tree Yard - a four part series on iPlayer. Quality Beeb.

That's interesting. We tried Apple Tree Yard a few weeks ago but I found the plot to be so unbelievable I laughed out loud at one point so gave up after the first episode. My wife has persevered but even she said the other day it wasn't doing anything for her so she wasn't going to finish it.
I know it doesn't come under the 'did you watch' bit, but see the Beeb will be showing SS GB from 19th Feb.

I watched "Ascension" on Netflix. It's about a generational space ship headed to Proxima Centauri with 600 people on board, launched secretly in the early 1960s after the Cuban Missile Crisis by President Kennedy. It was to ensure the survival of the human race in the event of nuclear war. The story starts in year 51 after launch. There are six episodes.
It has some twists and surprises.
I enjoyed it.

I've found a lot of things on Netflix are missing later series episodes - for example, Hinterland has Series One only but there are at least two more after that.
It's also frustrating to see things that sound good, then you see they are 3 years old and only one series was made, so you question whether it is worth getting excited about!
I'm running out of things I want to watch on Netflix NZ to be honest.

The Man in the High Castle season 2 is out, if it's anything like season one then this is one to watch next.
Just finished Outsiders, also on Amazon Prime; also worth watching.
I'd been waiting a year for this, and I thought it was even better than season 1.
But don't be fooled like I was... I looked at the number of episodes on Amazon and thought "Wow, 20 episodes", but episodes 11-20 are actually behind the scenes features. Needless to say I was disappointed when I went to watch episode 11.
Watched the first episode of Legion. Very good, I hope the keep the quality up for the rest of the season.
Just finished The People v OJ Simpson. Pretty good 8/10.

I found it dragged a lot until the last 15 mins or so. Maybe it was because I was watching in bed at midnight on a school/work night.
Just found The Goldbergs... dammit.

Awesome show that one. You may also like Speechless and The Real O'Neals (both on Hulu)

If you like that you will probably enjoy "Fresh off the boat" as well.
