Just started watching The Handmaid's Tale (Hulu). Very engrossing so far. And the most intriguing part is that, looking at the current US political climate, it's a story that doesn't feel that far fetched.
I'm enjoying this a lot. Love dystopian stories, this reminds me of Children of Men quite a bit given the underlying source material. Scary and bloody well acted.
Fargo Season 2. 9/10
Equally as good as season 1 although I preferred Billy Bob Thornton in series 1 as the 'series psycho' rather than the Indian guy in the second series.
And the spacecraft thing in series 2 was unnecessary and slightly silly.
^There's no indians in s2 of Fargo is there?

Yes there is the Native American Indian. He's the hitman who sets up the massacre at the motel at the end and kills the matriarch of the family.

American Gods. Read the book a few years ago and the first episode of the series I thought was very good. Although the other half hadn't read the book and couldn't follow it at all!
EDIT: Although after only one episode I don't think you're really meant to have much of an idea of what's happening.
Where is it?
A.
It's on STARZ so you can get it through Amazon with a STARZ subscription. I got it via an alternate source.
It is also available in NZ via Amazon Prime Video.

Agreed. Saw the movie some years ago and thought this could come true if the likes of the Tea Party and the religious right ever come to power in the US..

@jfanning Is that with the NZ "Prime Video" subscription? I have the US Amazon Prime and it requires an additional STARZ subscription with that.

Yes, Amazon picked up the international rights
I recently watched all episodes of BBC's SS:GB (first one on iPlayer, last two on Air NZ) - quite different in some ways to the book, but both book and TV are great.
I also watched the first episode of Season 1 of BBC's "Line of Duty" on NZ Netflix- this looks like a very well made cop drama. First three seasons are on NZ Netflix, season 4 currently showing on BBC

I didnt think Season 2 was as good as season 1. Noah Hawley has a particular style which appeals but the storyline seemed a bit OTT compared to Season 1.
What are your thoughts on Season 3 so far?

Agree that Line of Duty is a strong cop drama. Critical acclaim in the UK - I think Season 1 was something like the best rated series in years for the Beeb. Season 4 starts here in mid June. Season 5 is being commissioned for the UK in 2018.
