Hi, I'm using a Samsung 6400 55 inch TV. Samsung quite often have firmware updates. The latest in NZ is 1116.
I have searched high and low to find change log notes/firmware update notes.
Is anyone aware of a site that provides such details?

Cheers

not for samsung. if it's under warranty flash and if it bricks send it back.

if not under warranty it's a gamble for no clear benefit. i've flashed the tvs before, just make sure you got the correct country's firmware and 98% of the time it will be fine

otherwise there is the cga ...

good luck!

(i have a samsung tv - flashed a few updates - nothing changes)

I have a Samsung 51 inch Series 4 TV, and updated the Firmware once about 8 months after getting the TV.

I too couldn't find any explanation for the upgrade on the manufacturer's web site, nor noticed any difference in operation.

The update is dated October 2012 and I haven't bothered further since then.
