I got this sms a few minutes ago:

"hello we have important voice message for you call this number now to hear it 0034518441516"

I'm on a vodafone account plan.

Does anyone know what this scam is about and how it works?

I'm not going to call from mobile and find out because they will just spam harder next time ; ).

Destination number with a premium rate number so the spammers get a cut of the termination rate.

Please delete SMS the number can't be called from Vodafone NZ now as it's been blocked so have the SPAM SMS coming in

00 345 number are redirect number based in Spain, you would have no idea where the final termination is made or the cost....
