Can confirm that (so far) Chorus have not had a surge in fault jobs. Since 3 Techs turned up to my house today to extend the ribbonet ducting up my driveway to my house. Ordered fibre exactly 1 week ago. Hope this weekend is quiet for them also. Since the inside part of the install is booked for this Tuesday.


And before someone asks Yes im very happy with the standard of work they did. They also said that my house was an easy job for them.

Generaly the contract staff that work for the service companies, to do the UFB installs, are not the same staff that work on faults

Yeah, it seems like the eye of the storm has moved slightly to the left on that site since last night.

I'm in Mangere Bridge and its a buit windya nd some rain but nothing OTT. Just back from having a coffee in Mission Bay, was pretty deserted but ok but see pretty rough. Still warm enough for shorts and a T shirt
