I have a nice Sony radio (SW7600GR) that isn't working and I'd like to see if I can get it repaired.  Can anyone recommend a place in Wellington?  I understand that I am more than likely to run into the "uneconomic to repair" issue, but would like to see I can avoid that.  I know places like Next Electronics charge quite a high minimum fee just to look at such device, so wondered if there was a smaller outfit who might be more flexible.  I did ask in the Sony shop in Willis Street, but their reply wasn't especially useful.  And yes, I have put fresh batteries in :-)

There is a place out on the Hutt road who's name escapes me, they might have moved further up to Jardins mile but been a while.

Otherwise try the electrical place on Tory Street opposite the Warehouse next to the trophy shop?

Thanks, Rickles.  I will try LTC Parts - sounds exactly the sort place I was after.
