Why won't you buy from Hell Pizza again?

You don't like rabbit pizzas? I'd agree with that, seems to be the trend to throw all sorts of crap on a piece of bread and call it a pizza.
I'm with the Italians on that, pizza should have the traditional toppings and nothing else....

However I like rabbit. It's very similar to chicken but of course you get 4 legs.

You're squeamish about eating rabbit? What about the cute little lambies then?

Or chickens...

Or because they have a billboard with rabbit on it? What are your shoes made of? Your belt? Own a leather lounge suite?
Do you know how cheese is made? Where do you think rennet comes from?

Drink milk or eat milk products? How about the evil dairy farmers taking the cute little calves away and sending them off to the slaughterhouse for veal?

Which Italians were you thinking of? Neapolitans think most other areas don't know how to make decent pizza buut you will find a big variation. Put more than 1 Italian in a room and you'll get an argument about whose region or grandmother knows best. ]

Klipspringer: Personally I would prefer a Kiwi Pizza.

Really wish someone could shoot a couple of kiwis because I have always been keen to give one a try.
I know a mate who lives up north. They do have the very odd kiwi around. Next time I'm up there I'm going to go Kiwi hunting. I'm sure they taste great on the BBQ. Will have to keep it quiet though. I believe people may get a bit upset if they heard I was planning on eating a few of these birds.

Jeez it was suppose to be tongue in cheek.

Guess its OK to talk about eating bunny rabbits but just don't mention the kiwi .... Lesson learned!

It'll get a few punters trying that rabbit pizza.

If you can make a campaign “edgy” without overstepping into the “Consumer Blowback” zone it's clever maketing.

Like the subtle difference between “Stirring up a good debate” and “Trolling”..

Glad we could help.
I wouldnt mind getting one. I just think the advertising is like: Yeah we just nailed rabbit skin to a board and our name with a comparison next to it. I feel that Gucci is going to be nailing fine hides to a board and saying: We make handbags out of Cow, Like this billboard.

I know they're trying to live up to their "Hell" image but I still find it tasteless in exactly the same way I find shock radio DJs annoying.

Trying to advertise or entertain by provocation is childish.

k1wi: Almost has a Norsk/Medieval look to it as is.

Hey! I take offense to that use of Norsk, being Norsk (norwegian) I don't think we have a medieval look at all.

As for the campaign, my experience is that rabbit seems to be a pretty exotic to most people. And from what I understand about Hell they always pull stunts like this.

Its obviously working, even though peoples sensibilities are hurt again and again. Makes them "edgy" I guess.

Our local Hell has a yellow sticker in its front window - "EARTHQUAKE PRONE BUILDING" - which adds to its charm and matches the black decor.

Ragnor: I like it, the super sensitive PC brigade can take a hike imo.

I admit, Good advertising. Definitely has us talking doesnt it.
But with that a side my ethics would go against nailing rabbit skins to a billboard.

I'm struggling to see why it is unethical. Why do you consider it any more unethical than, say, someone visibly wearing a leather belt?

Personally, it bothers me about as much as seeing a leather handbag hanging in the window of the local leatherwear shop, or a pair of leather shoes advertised in the newspaper (both of which are displaying animal skins to tout products). That to say it doesn't bother me at all. Plus, it is clearly relevant to the product it's advertising.

I don't see why people have such an issue with it?

I see no problem with this, i would disagree if it was kiwi feathers or dolphin skin but rabbits... eh

Its not like they were inhumanly killed, skinned and then chopped up

I'm going to noob myself past judgement

I suppose we all have an opinion. I dont need to get into a discussion about why its wrong to prove i believe its not ethical.
