Does anyone know of NZ suppliers for Hypoallergenic Belts and not the Velcro ones? I can only find suppliers overseas?
My Favorite belt that I've had for 10+ years gave up on me and these new ones that I have been buying in NZ are all Nickel or chrome coated and I've tried almost everywhere I can think of but they all give me belt rash :(

"Belt rash"? I can honestly say I never thought such a thing possible!
Isn't the belt looped through your trousers though? How's it touching skin?

I guess it all depends on how/where you wear it or what you do with it. tongue-out

meh if I thought I was going to get responses like this on here I would not of asked... I have a really common skin condition where if I wear cheap metals I get a rash same happens with watches and rings not made from gold.

I used to get something similar, but I seemed to have grown out of it. Copper/gold colored metals used to do it, but not silver plated metals. My strategy was just to ensure the belt never touched my skin, so I'd wear a thin work type belt with jeans.

I get exactly the same thing with a ring I never wear.  I get this insane rash on my finger that ends up itchy as all hell!  I get the same with my belt, but I've never really done anything about it.

Nail polish

I have the same issue, its where the belt buckle rides up above the top of your pants, fine for years then the coating of the belt buckle must have worn back a bit and end up with god awful rashes.

Tried using the plastic belt and buckle you get at the $2 style shops, which were OK but they don't last long, if you have a physical job, at the time i was a storeman, so always moving, lifting sweating.

Ended up purchasing clear nail polish and completely lacquered the belt buckle and rivets in the belt, haven't had the issue again

Ive ended up buying online from http://nonickel.com/ standard square genuine leather work belt $73 shipped to me. Not to expensive but they have good reviews about quality unlike the crappy ones ive seen in shops.

Not an option to get a solid gold belt buckle and just be a baller?
