Went in store to get a couple of things today. Saw one customer come in and buy about 40 hard drives and 10 laptops. Apparently its one of the resellers that comes in and does this. There is no limit per customer. Quite ridiculous actually. Leave the bargains for the end consumers. I am sure he will go and hike up the price and make a killing.

Nothing legally wrong obviously, but Dick Smith should really put a stop to that sort of thing

My local store said they only had 2 degree versions, so wouldn't match it.

What about this for a bargain?

Wow, I'd buy that for that price. Wonder if it is just that store?

It was across all stores but stock was an issue.

They weren't discounted by much were they? There didn't seem to be too many dscounted things that I could see apart from cases and cables.

Hm, the things that stood out were $48 1tb portable hard drives, cheap ish camera. Oh the Samsung 4k UHD monitor (last years model) was for $299. Almost bought that one.

TV's were cheap if they had old models left... some Pana plasmas for not much money.
If it is in a box, it's a deal, but if it's a 2 year old plasma that has been running on a store demo for 700+ days... pass.*

*Unless it's a TH-P65VT60 for $500... then I'd be in like a robbers dog!

That's either because they have none of the stock... or because it's a plan to have a rolling sale.
I'll check again tomorrow morning... as I got what I wanted today, but there may be a few options?

I saw one display plasma at one DSE that had massive screenburn on it. Think it was st lukes. Amazing that they still had crap plasmas on display with all their flickery dithery mess. Guess there may be some truth to what they guy was telling everyone that they were just clearing stock to make room. But we all know thats probably not fully true ;)
