About to travel through the US for a while. In case I get drunk and buy something big or heavy,or just something I don't want to drag around with me, does anyone know if there is anywhere at LAX where I can stuff forwarded to for pickup on the way back to NZ?

You wont find anything at the airport itself,

LAX are so terrorist paranoid that they even took out their luggage lockers,

You might be able to use POSTE RESTANTE or GENERAL DELIVERY service via the US post office, but I suspect the main post office will be downtown somewhere nowhere near the Airport

The airport won't allow it for security reasons.

Book a few days in an hotel in LA before you leave and use that as a forwarding address - then ring the hotel concierge and ask them to hold the package until you check in. I have done that before and it worked.

Maybe not if you were planning on buying a piano though.

You can ship pretty much anything to a Fedex pick-up centre (and there are lots of these).

I wont be staying at LA just passing through thankfully otherwise that would work well and have done so before.

Yeah that would work and they may have something near the airport, plus I have a FEDEX account.
