KiwiNZ:

fight for him no way, he will screw us over in an instant, he has no interest in NZ he is just trying to protect his ill gotten gains.

Of course he doesn't. But my point is that there is a bigger issue at stake than Kim Dotcom. He was chosen precisely because his personality is so big it obscures the bigger issue quite nicely. Your comment is exactly why he was chosen to go down first.

Dotcom email is a fake - Warner Bros??
The Kim Dotcom "big reveal" is out - and has almost immediately been dismissed as a fake. The "reveal" is an email which purports to show Prime Minister John Key involved in a plan to get the internet entrepreneur into New Zealand so he could be extradited to the United States.

Its so pathetic, KDC was trying to get our loved John Key extradited. He must be on some good drugs.

warner bros made 5 billion in 2013. its so strange to me that NZers are willing to overlook tens, possibly hundreds of millions of tax dollars put towards protecting the profits of a multi-billion dollar US corporation.

now theres possibly even an email that proves as much, yet people are still like get rid of Kim DC? Kim DC didnt misappropriate my tax dollars to keep WB CEO Kevin Tsujihara on a private yacht in the bahamas. so strange

If you think about it... Why would kim released that email to the media before the reveal tonight. I believe this isnt the big reveal and there will be more to come tonight.

Sure these companies get Tax $$ to support them etc. But thats no reason to make KDC seem worthy of anything.

politicians lie, big corporates lie. There is no real way to know if kimdotcom is also lying.

I hope there is something more to this big reveal, than an email that could be faked, lied about, covered up, etc..

Salty has a fair few good points here, forget the fact that kimdotcom may be a "twat" or whatever other creative colourful name you have for him, and look at the bigger picture.. The legal effect this could potentially have on equal services.

geekiegeek: After KDCs claims of being a hacker how can we be sure he didn't plant the email himself. The guy has zero credibility in my opinion and to be honest I'm totally sick of him and wish we could get rid of him. pisses me off no end every time he pops up in the news.

He was a hacker in his teens, The judge dismissed him as being young and stupid. Also after doing that the german government gave him millions of dollars to start a business to protect against hacking. Im sure quite a few people here on Geekzone and in the IT industry did stupid things when they were younger too.

Remember what Steve Jobs and Wozniac did when they were young? 'Hacked' the payphones to get free calling.

Someone who hacked Apples iPhones was later hired by Apple.

you know, NZ is a small fry in the pond of big power people. we don't and never have had our own autonomy. China could buy the entire nation if it wanted to. Australia could eat us up overnight if it wanted to. the States could boycott us and drive us to h#ll if it wanted to. Russia could torch us in under an hour if it wanted to.

put simply, if Indonesia puts 20 people on a boat and send boat after boat after boat of unarmed civilian, we will be conquered within a week, just like that. it is unfortunate that two big shots are warring in our backyard - let them go and war somewhere else. please.

TimA: Please be true, Make sure he takes Hone with him.

Interesting read but it seems pretty far fetched in some part.

But at least its "Breaking" news.

You know those covert ops guys you read about in books by people like Brad Thor? I have a job for them...!

Wouldn't it just be awful if a former Coatesville resident were to wake from a deep sleep and find himself somewhere sunny like Fort Leavenworth?!

My friend who is a neighbor hates him. So funny. I hope he wakes up in some random USA torture chamber with JK and they are having a go for the lolz.

*Sigh*

The end result of all this is that we will have turned on the taps to another Hollywood revenue stream: garnishing your monthly internet and cloud service bills with additional fees to compensate them for the trillions in daily revenue lost to the evil pirates.

And you guys are not just letting them do it. You're cheering them on, because KDC's face is just so very punchable.

For your own wallet's sake, look past the man!
