Politics is like rugby. It's a game. Lots of complex rules to play with. Do it right, add a bit of luck, win the elections.

Whoever wins, Auckland will still have transport problems. House price in akl still be unaffordable. Eqc will still be hopeless. Southern dhb will still be bankrupt.

Whoever wins, the sun will still shine. Terrorism will continue. Babies will be born. Money will be wasted. Nobody will be happy.

Why do people keep thinking National are doing a great job?

Lovely distraction "The All Black's ********************"

Was So Crate murdered for the common good?

Basic questions:

What is the difference between legal and lawful?

What factual evidence is there, that you have to be subservient to another? (slave/master)

This may seem off topic but these basic questions, answer whether National (system) are doing a great job? Please replace (National with whatever controller is in place).

@joker97

It is fine to be lost, it is a start from somewhere.

True.

Mind you, you can spend $600,000 buying a house in the South Wairarapa without much difficulty so Auckland really isn't as crazily different as it is often made out.

VeryWoolly you are repeating yourself. I find the content of your posts interesting but there is no need for the obvious repetition. You must expand. Continue with the strategy of repetition and it is likely you will be banned.

If enough people think the government (which currently happens to be the National Party) are doing a crappy job, they'll be voted out and replaced by an alternative government, who in theory will do a great job. And so on and so on...

All good and well until you realise that it doesn't matter who you vote for.

You cannot expect to borrow billions without letting go some control of your country to the people who lent you the money.

Essentially NZ has sold its sovereignty to the international money lenders, and it is in their best interest for us to do well enough to pay interest on loans (and allow them influence over NZs fiscal policies), but not so well that we can fully pay and become independent of them.

To whom do we owe money?

Which countries are free of any debt?

World Bank & IMF come to mind. No countries are debt free which is quite scary when you consider the level of debt (and thus control) that a small group of money lending organisations have over world governments.

Common theme seems to be that the countries without international banks are the ones we are bombing and trying to install democracy into.
