KiwiNZ:  when ISIS no longer exists it will easier  to fix the root causes.

And you don't think that the use of brute force to ensure 'ISIS no longer exists' - with all the unavoidable reality of "collateral damage" - is likely to just create yet another generation of those who have witnessed the horrors of war including having members of the family - whether combatants or not - killed and their  country ravaged turn against the supposed "bringers of freedom"?

You cannot negotiate or reason with them, force is all that will deal with them.

Agreed. In the same way the only treatment for a rabid dog is destruction.

blakamin:
Wondered if I should start a thread about "The Evil that is the Australian Govt" but it would probably break GZ. :/

I suspect that what's really needed an entire forum for "The Evil that is [x]" with threads for ... Aus Govt, US Govt, UK Govt, Canadian Govt, Nigerian Govt, NZ Govt, John Key, UN, CIA, NSA, Bechtel, Google, Apple, Microsoft, GCSB, SIS, Amazon, Harvey Norman, TradeMe, Spark, Vodafone, yada, yada, yada

Yeah, but Wolverine's just a jackass. I mean, there's no need for all that hostility, really, not any more.

The truly evil mask their evilness by pretending to be likable.

But Wolverine is just a movie... it isn't real. The movie is based on a comic ferchrissake... that isn't real either.

However, 20th Century Fox is evil.
