Hi There!

I have sent a number of parcels with Youshop, and initially I was pretty happy, but recently there have been delays in processing. I am wondering about an alternative that is approximately the same price, perhaps with the added advantage of consolidation?

Cheers

This has been discussed in the (massive) youshop thread. From memory http://www.shipito.com/ is recommended but I've never tried them.

Didn't seem right to suggest alternatives in that thread.

In order to have consolidation you need to pay $50 a year, seems steep unless your volume was significant.

Doesnt take too much amazon boxes of air to really save that $50.

All up good service so far, other than them saying that lithiums could come DHL but then they couldnt, but got a full credit of the freight that I paid so it delayed things a bit and I had to pay a little more for fedex but not a big deal.

I use worldship - ws1.com

They have no annual charge and charge something like $5 to consolidate a shipment.  There might be a one off membership charge but they often give it away for free.

If you're placing a big order it is worth paying the $99 for their "plus" membership.

Just be careful of their shipping restrictions as their primary market is the middle east so can be a bit conservative (e.g. won't ship knives)
