Got the email below today .  I seem to remember getting something like this a year or two ago .

"Your Address Verified status is due to expire on 13 July. Every two years you need to apply to remain Address Verified.

You can renew your Address Verified status for free, just confirm your address and we will send you a letter with a new code. Enter your code and your Address Verified status will be renewed for another two years.

Renew for free

If you have not entered your new code before 13 July then you will no longer appear Address Verified, so apply now.

Happy trading!

The Trade Me team
www.trademe.co.nz

P.S. Having problems? Send us an email"

Last time the email gave instructions on how to access your account and verify it.    If it is genuine you would think that Trademe  knowing how much of a problem scammers have become would not send out an email with a return link on it??

Easiest way to work out if it is genuine is to hover over the links and make sure they go to the correct address (i.e. something at trademe.co.nz)
Spam that uses the same method will have a random domain name there.

Thanx for the relies.  Still not a good look though in sending out emails with a return link  that looks like  phishing..

It's an online site. How else are they going to contact you

Swype on iOS is detrimental to accurate typing. Apologies in advance.

By sending out the info with information on  where to find this on your "My  Trademe"  Is it that hard to understand  that you don't send out  links to login to a  website like Trademe or Paypal. ??  Paypal don't .  They just ask you to  go and login to Paypal.com  with instructions  on how to check / update info.    Never a direct login link.
