michael001: Not sure what you should do, but I can tell you what a vindictive a-hole would do.

I have a friend who goes to bed early and wakes at 3:30am every day and plays games until dawn. Weekdays, weekends - it matters not - he sits in his man cave which sits hard up against a shared walkway. The person in unit 4 had a habit of coming home at 5am and throwing various fast food wrappers, bags and scraps in his bin. He didn't care all that much until the same neighbor chased his cat with a water pistol one day so he 'dog pooed' the underside handle of his wheelie bin lid - right where your fingers sink into to lift the lid.

Sure it was a little annoying to clean the bin with the hose, but he can still hear the sweet memories of her wailing, crying and dry heaving outside his man cave window. One can only imagine that she somehow got it all over her face. Whatever the case, she never put rubbish in the bin again which was a shame, because he genuinely didn't care. He loved that cat though.

Dog poo when he had a cat?

Dog poo is unpleasant. Cat poo is toxic!

Also, since his cat was attacked, cat poo was more appropriate.

I dont mind people using the bins if they are not full.
What annoys me is when they pack in so much that the lids remain open , and often this means not getting collected.
As I start work early, I started putting the bins out early in the morning. Problem solved!
Also another gripe is when they put black garbage bags in the yellow bin.

Also we had people renting next door, who never put their own bins out, but would use our bins to put their waster in.
Well,  glad that they left.

Enough said on garbage.

Dulouz: My neighbor use to put her rubbish in our wheelie bin. I just let it slide. Eventually she died of natural causes.

How's the new patio looking?

Surely saying something as stupid as this breaches the GZ rules. What a disgusting and stupid thing to say.

DaveB:
ghettomaster: I would do nothing unless it happens again and is becoming a problem. If your bin had been emptied like they presumed it would, the rubbish would be gone and it would have cost you nothing.

Sure, people should pay for their own rubbish disposal, but is it really that big a deal?

I'm not sure what scares me most ............ the fact that some people would even suggest "do nothing unless .......", or "is it really that big a deal?"

It's a softie, warm hugging, soft ice cream world indeed.

HAHAHA - awesome.

"Perhaps you could just be nice..."                                           "Whoa! That dude is SCARY!"

To be fair my neighbor was a 91 year old lady who lived alone and was crazy as a bat.

So if someone threatened to kill one of your pets you would be OK with it?

Some people see no difference between their cat and your children.

They probably need glasses then. Also most cats are better behaved and more sober than my children.
