I noticed a couple of things on amazon I haven't seen before.

I placed an order today and got free shipping to NZ....

But if I place the same order from a different computer, the shipping is not free (signed in).

And,  they have a search option I've not seen previously...

So, you can filter products with 'free international shipping'.

But, the filter does not work as I do not seem to get free shipping on the filtered goods . I'm guessing it might be free to some countries but not NZ , perhaps.   But, it should be smart enough to look at the account address and figure it out.

I noticed something different this morning..

I was being charged for the US price of goods, like it didn't convert to NZ.

Didn't place any orders, just thought it was weird and hadn't seen it before.

I guess the site is under regular enhancements, i haven't bought anything for a while.

I was wondering if there are some bugs in their system allowing free shipping.   I applied a coupon code to my order and get it for $27 with free shipping --these are recommended by wirecutter so a great set of earbuds for very little money.

Didn't they have free shipping to NZ for a while? Maybe they're doing it again?

Interestingly, I couldn't even get these to ship to NZ at all!

I bought some brainwaves a while back and they both had one of the headphones fall apart. Check the build quality well when they arrive so that if they do come apart its within when you can complain about it.

Chances are they are shipping from hong kong. So free to wherever because of the postal systems anomalies. Lots of stuff on amazon doesnt ship from the USA. Pays to be careful because I ended up getting something shipped from HK to the USA only to end up reshipping it to nz, and as it was a lithium battery had to use fedex from the US to NZ :(

It's because the iPhone version are not fulfilled by Amazon, but shipped by Brainwavz. They have free worldwide shipping (except CDs, books etc.) probably because of the reasons mentioned above.

Yep, found this before i bought..

"Build-quality concerns and customer service

We’ve seen a number of comments and have received emails from unhappy people who have purchased the Brainwavz Delta only to have them fall apart, cause static, or call up voice commands in recent months. We have been keeping an eye on the situation, as we know that with any electronic product, there’s bound to be a handful of headphones here and there that don’t end up getting made the way they should.

But these issues appeared to be widespread, and far more common than we’ve seen with any other headphone. As a result, despite our opinion that the Delta had the best sound for the price, we reached out to Brainwavz to talk about the issue and consider whether we needed to change our recommendation.

Brainwavz, according to the CEO who responded to our query, has heard you. As of February 2015, they changed the way the Delta are being built, from changing the glue that holds the earbuds together, to altering the way the Delta are packaged to reduce stress on the cable when the headphones are removed from the box. They even held re-training classes with their workers who install the mic and remote to reduce mistakes. In addition, we were told that in the next few months, a three-button Apple and Android version would be available as well, with a better remote and mic than the one currently on the Delta, at the same price as the single-button Delta currently available.

These adjusted batches of Deltas are what are currently listed on Amazon, and Brainwavz pulled all the old versions out of their inventory. In other words, if you were to buy a new pair today, you’d get the improved version."
