Hi
I am travelling to KL in Dec and wanted to rent an apartment (2 bedroom)for 6 nights.
I have never used airbnb services and wonder if anyone has used it for travel in Asia?

I have read reviews on the apartments that I really like and they were all positive which I am taking with a grain of salt.

I just dont want to get burnt when it comes closer to Dec as host often have cancelled held reservations!,  reading other reviews
What are the hidden fees?

cheers

I haven't used airbnb, but isn't the best option to steer clear of the hosts that have reviews saying they cancelled held reservations or other poor reviews, and stick with ones that have plenty of good reviews?

Nz121 per night is rm360 per night. Same as the Monthly wages of amcdonalds worker.

I'd say it will be ok as they are making money.

There is plenty of accommodation in KL so if they do cancel you will find something else.

In terms of hidden costs there are sometimes things like cleaning fees but they are all disclosed when you look at the airbnb page for the apartment.

for that sort of money check out hotels.com come etc to find a hotel or serviced apartments for very similar money.
airbnb is meant to save you tons of cash not just a few bucks a night...
