Technofreak: Adobe removing the rotate function from their basic/free version of Adobe Reader.
Most of the posters in this thread are just like chimpanzees on MDMA, full of feelings of bonhomie, joy, and optimism. Fred99 8/4/21

I use Foxit reader. Seems to work OK, small banner ad in the corner for their paid product.
I like that it allows you to type and insert signature into non-form PDFs, and it can read from a scanner when you're creating one.
Roses are red, that much is true, but violets are purple, not ****ing blue!

Agreed. Scumbaggery of the first order.

Sumatra is popular, but I find it has a weird menu layout.
I prefer Pdf-Xchange Editor, as it is fairly functional and pretty light.

I don't use Adobe products myself, but I found another thread about it. Some people are adamant that rotation has never been in the free version (I'm pretty sure that's wrong). Others are adamant that it's still available in the current version. Are you getting some sort of "please buy" when you try to rotate, or is the option just missing?
Stuff's autoplaying advertisement videos. They have a Pause button, which does pause the video, but is also rigged up so that it opens a new tab with the advertiser's website.

The Covid Booster Booking website pluralising the distance/location:
"The vaccination centre is 756 ms away"
Wow! I can get there in less than a second? When did we invent travel that fast?

I was actually baffled by that when I saw it. I didn't even consider that it was supposed to be metres; as you're aware "ms" means "milliseconds" and I had no idea what it was going on about.
It seems they've added some wording; when I did my booking I think it only had an icon with "36 ms" next to it.

Believe me, I've pointed this out before...

It's noted and in the backlog.

Problem is that a lot of the time all you find is endless messages from other people trying to find out how to do the same thing. And a Gmail specialty when you're looking for help is to carefully describe steps that haven't applied to any version of Gmail in the last five years, because UI Refresh.
Support pages on manufacturers websites that won't allow you to submit a ticket until you've jumped through every self help guide and every FAQ that is completely unrelated to the issue you have with their product.
So you're having an issue with the audio on you camera. Before we submit a ticket let's see if we can resolve the issue for you. Have you tried adjusting the contrast in the picture control settings?
Was this advice helpful. Yes/No
No, it wasn't very helpful at all. Just give me a form that I can complete so I can explain what the issue is and you can get back to me.

Takes you to a please buy subscription page. The version I have never used to do that.
