Putting a B2 mask that's already been worn nonstop for 12 hours on again for another 12-hour flight.

Shopping for a digital piano... frustrating as there seems to be an agreed pricing because retailers don't compete much at all .

e.g, Roland FP30x, FP60x.... every retailer in NZ sells for the same price. No undercutting at all.

Australia seems to have very healthy competition, so it is definitely just a NZ thing.

It's the same with electric drum kits.

When we were shopping for a kit for my son a couple of years ago, it was so frustrating - nobody was competing. They all had the same pricing, regardless of brand (almost) - similar kits were all similar prices, with no bargains to be had.

When developers copy each other. Sure, code re-use is good, but I've just found the exact same bug in three different open source products.

That's probably people copying and using StackExchange "solutions" without thinking. Not every developer is smart or want to spend time on things.

While those brands don't get big discounts, at least you can find sales from time to time.  I can buy an Apple macbook pro with education pricing, and sometimes apple does 10% off.  I bought a weber charcoal grill when it went on special .

With digital pianos, I'm talking about virtually ALL digital pianos sold by all retailers. Retailer prices for the same model are the same down to the cent. And I do check occasionally. There are some exceptions, usually on less well known brands.

It's BugExchange, not StackExchange.

Thanks, that explains the reduction in their number of listings!

Another Trade Me one... I have an old account but don't keep any balance there, because why would I?

Listed an item, and had to pay listing fees, so opted-in for the "Good for 2 relists" option in case it didn't sell. If it did, then it would be only a dollar less on the sale.

The item didn't sell but was close to the reserve. So I decided to relist again - already paid, right?

Go to relist the item, Trade Me charges a reserve fee not included in the "Good for 2 relists" option.

I am not recharging the account again. The item has been listed on Geekzone before (a camera) and attracted no interest. So I will just keep it.

From the photo they probably went out and bought some plugs locally at Bunnings and screwed rather than clicked.
