Yep, Outlook is just bizarre. At present I have a 2-year gap in my Deleted Items folder for no reason, with the exception of a single email from in the middle. Emails from one specific sender have a non-functional scroll bar, but only once (after attempting to scroll once, it'll work the second time). I shudder to think how much legacy code is stuck in there.
MikeB4: Our water going off without notice. It impacts more than many may think
I hope the jug was full and you've bathed and washed your dishes?
If necessary, the hot water cylinder should hopefully have some water in it, so you could (theoretically) drain that for some water in a pinch?

Typical local government ineptitude.
Happened to my son too, but, one of the flatmates didn't shut off the tap... and, water was turned back on during the night, flooding their house. Covered by insurance, but, what a drag!
Apparently some houses received a notice, but, they missed my son's street.

Unfortunately we don't have a water cylinder we have an Infinity unit. My neighbour got some bottled water for me which was fantastic. I hadn't taken my medication when the water went. I doesn't do anxiety levels any favours.

Crikey. What would you do if there was an earthquake?
Everybody needs to have some water stashed around the place.

And this is why the Oxford Comma is a good thing :-).

I was always taught that it was either a comma or and. Never both.

MikeB4: We have emergency water which is stored but unfortunately I physically cannot get to it. Definitely going to rethink that. However with the comms available giving notice should not be hard. I had previously registered my phone number and address with Wellington Water to get notices but it never happens
Good that it was this minor inconvenience that has made you think about the water storage situation. An emergency would be the worst time to discover that you can't access what you need!!

The consensus these days is leave a comma out if you really want to, but if there can be any realistic ambiguity (like above) then a comma should be used for the sake of clarity.

Oh, another one. The "suggested replies" feature that was recently added. Who starts an email with "Yay!" in a business setting?!

Lotus notes used to be great... it was ugly, but, functionally superior to outlook and super reliable.

Uhh... is there some other product called Lotus Notes that you're talking about that I'm not aware of? Because it's certainly not describing anything like the version I'm familiar with.
Legend has it that when IBM bought Lotus, they had a dedicated server and dedicated admin for it who watched it at all times so that at least Lou Gerstner, if no-one else at IBM, had a Notes setup that mostly worked most of the time.
