Hotels that supply you a tetra pack of milk.

Seems to be certain hotels in Christchurch that I experience this at.

How on earth are you supposed to elegantly open these to pour into your tea or coffee?

Packaging is too thick to tear the corner off as it's not perforated either. If you do manage to tear it you spill contents as you are gripping the pack tightly. You really need scissors to open them properly.

Trying to use the straw or punched open foil hole, can be equally messy.

If you can't laugh at yourself then you probably shouldn't laugh at others.

put the straw in it and squeeze the milk out. easy as.

its easier for the milk to go out the straw then out the foil seal so it usually doesnt spill.

Was just going to post exactly the same thing. In fact I wasn't even aware that there was an alternative to doing it this way, in the sense that I can't imagine how else you'd try and get the milk out.

What's wrong with whitelisted?

White/Blacklist has been a hot topic of debate regarding its perceived racial meaning for some time.

I did my homework on this matter a while ago, and even the origins of white/blacklist have nothing at all to do with historical racism/slavery etc that some may think it stems from.

Once again, the easily offended have become just that.

I do think a "blocklist/passlist" rolls off the tongue as easily though, and means exactly what it says.

In my car, the gap between the centre floor console and the adjacent front seats.

The gap is big enough for the most important things to fall into, but too small to get my hand down to retrieve said item....

Sometimes, just sometimes, I can just touch the dropped item, but only end up manoeuvring the item either further under the seat, or further back into the gap, even further out if reach.

Either way, I gave some stop somewhere, open the back door, and ungainly scrabble around under the seat, backside hanging out in midair in an undignified manner..

My garage door remote, which I normally leave in the cup holder loves to do this.

There are foam things to fill that gap to stop things falling into it on my favorite ecommerce site for cheap.

I could spend all day trying to get the key fob down there and fail on every attempt. Drop it by accident and the sodding thing goes straight down. There needs to be a force field developed to stop that. The same for the gap between an elevator and the depths of Hell.
