Hate it - when your local supermarket blames their downturn in sales on the competition!

 

Customers don't leave until they have a good reason.

 

Don't p*ss your loyal customers off by:

 

Deleting lines such as Davis Gelatine / Craigs Bean Salad with Dressing / Birdseye Standard Oven Chips yet you keep the others in the range / etc

 

Ambiguous special / shelf labeling.

 

Meat that is "off" before being reduced!

 

More small trolleys now than large.

 

Checkouts they can't even pack all of your groceries without using the floor!

 

ABUSIVE beggars at the entrance.

 

I was a "loyal" Countdown shopper since they opened here in Christchurch, but no more!

HRV!

 

Told last week to never enter my property.

 

Today come to the door pretending that we have an appointment!

 

Told to leave.

 

5 mins later get a phone call to confirm a fictitious appointment.

 

Told them they are lying - and got hung up on!

 

Real dodgy sales tactics!

Just sat down and compared power companies, since my contract runs out soon. The annoyance: Three power companies not listing prices on their sites (or, at the very least, hiding them very well). Do they not want customers?

No, they want your bill to work it out, so they have all the information needed to swap you over as soon as you say you will change.

 

"You can change to us and if you're not happy there is no contract!" - "Ok" - boom, changed power company.

And when they do reply its a stock template, not appropriate for the question and they suggest ringing them.

When NZ Post actively promote their 'parcel redirect' service,..

 

..I go to use it, all seems to work OK, (a couple of days go by) I receive notification that my parcel is ready to collect from the local bookstore which happens to be NZ Post's agent,....

 

..I then go to collect it and the grumpy old bag serving me tells me how lucky I am that she has already scanned it otherwise I would have had to come back the next day, and points to some unofficial locally printed sign that says that is their (the store's, I guess) policy.





People often mistake me for an adult due to my age.
