The fact that in Europe and possible the entire civilised world when you're on an escalator you stand on the right and leave room on the left for people to walk. In NZ you huddle in a mass across the entire escalator to make it impossible for anyone to move on it.
Awaiting further data is whether the slower the escalator, the greater the chance of groups of people blocking it. For example the ones at the Glenfield Mall, where I've seen people meet at the top, get married halfway down, and have children by the time they get to the bottom, seem to have this problem a lot more than others.
MadEngineer: Try it in Singapore’s underground system and you’ll promptly find a guard marching at you.
Would a set of rotating knives triggered by a lack-of-motion sensor be too much d'you think?

Worse is the ones that come here from over there and don't realize that its stand left walk right here and stubbornly do things like they do back in England.
Yeah, I find the English system strange. With cars, they drive (walk) on the left and overtake on the right, just like we do, so why is it the opposite way around on escalators?
Westpac Bank "Marketing emails"
Every time one logs into the bank, A WARNING ABOUT SCAM EMAILS comes up telling not to click on links etc.
So when an email arrived about a 5% term deposit deal WHICH DONATES TO SOMETHING CHARITY IF YOU TAKE IT UP, with hyperlinks to get more information etc and the hyperlinks weren't to their main website, I sent a copy of it to their phishing email address.
I get a reply from them some days later saying "OH, do you want us to remove you from all our marketing emails?" What idiots are running the bank these days?
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
I have recently received emails from IAG, Apple and Garmin that look like they could be scam emails, but checking the headers and the links makes me 99% sure they're legitimate.
It's terrible that these companies are still promoting behaviours that make their customers vulnerable to actual scams.

Banks have been doing this for as long as they've had online accounts. Some years ago the fraud department of the BNZ (I think) identified one of their marketing department's own emails as a phishing email, it was that bad.
My own employer has mandatory security training that tells you to always hover over a link and see where it points to. At the same time, they use some software that rewrites all links so you can't see where they point to.

In England I seem to remember, left side of the escalator was the slow lane, right side was the overtaking/about to miss the tube lane.

Apple and their continued resistance to being able to add local files to your Music library on iOS.
I understand that there are limitations in iOS that are hard to overcome due to Apple's walled garden, but if I can download an album legally to Files as MP3 files, surely, I should be able to just pick those up from Files in my iPhone and play them in my Music app?
I can use Spotify or any other number of apps to do it...why can't I use my preferred Music app?
I have tried adding them in my MacBook and it's a fairly easy process...but as I have iCloud music storage, I can't seem to transfer them across to my iPhone, even with a physical connection.
So frustrating...

Also - having my stitches removed from my face today and my needlephobia is causing massive anxiety - I know they're not sticking needles in me, but the idea of string being pulled out of my face has me on the verge of a nervous breakdown. It's the same thing in my head.
I shall be taking anxiety medication/sedatives and hoping for the best...
